Abu Dhabi already has a 100 megawatt concentrated solar power plant which is one of the largest in Asia. Dubai then took the lead with its ambitious Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park. The park will have an eventual installed capacity of 5 gigawatts.
